Finding God in a Pandemic: A short trip through contemporary Jewish theology and atheism

Date: April 5, 13, 19, 26 and May 3, 10
***Please note that one class is on a Tuesday instead of a Monday***
Time: 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Location: Via Zoom

Jews love to say we are “God-strugglers,” so let’s explore the rich Jewish landscape of God-talk, from the classics like Buber, Kaplan, Heschel to feminist and queer Jewish theologies. We will explore how theology, pantheism, and atheism attempt to answer the most profound questions of our time.

Sign up for the whole class or drop in when you’re able.

We will be using the book, "Finding God: Selected Responses" by Rifat Sonsino and Daniel B.Syme. Purchasing the book is not necessary, but you may want to borrow or own it for a deeper understanding of our theologians.
