Tell Us About Yourself

Please use the fields below to state your name, email and pronouns:

Support Our Community

As you know, we don’t charge for High Holy Days — so that we can be a place for everyone.

However, this year, our cost to provide High Holy Days, not including clergy and staff time, will total about $100,000.  This translates to a cost of about $180 to $270 per person depending on actual attendance.

As a member, we are grateful for the many ways you support our community throughout the year.  And if you’re able to help underwrite these costs, we would be especially grateful.  (Those who provide support of $540 or more before 9/8 will be acknowledged in our program.)

A donation at any level is welcome!

Support Our Community

Unlike other communities, we don’t charge a set fee for High Holy Days, but we encourage everyone to support us as you are able.

Not including staff and clergy time, our cost to provide High Holy Day services will total $100,000 this year -- 5% more than last year due to increased costs for rental, enhanced security, and online support.

This translates to an average cost between $180 and $270 per person depending on actual attendance. (Those who provide support of $540 or more before 9/8 will be acknowledged in our program.)

A donation at any level that is personally meaningful is welcome!

How did you hear about High Holy Days with Sha'ar Zahav?

Safety and Health

Identification:
We require personal identification for all in-person events. For members with key cards, this will serve as your proof of ID.  For all others, we will check photo ID’s against registration lists.

Vaccinations and Masks:
For the health and safety of our community, all who attend in-person services and events should be vaccinated against COVID-19. If you are unvaccinated, sick, or experiencing any symptoms of illness, please enjoy services and events via Zoom.

While masks are no longer required at in-person services and events, we are mask-friendly and fully supportive of visitors, members, and service leaders who choose to wear masks.

As an added precaution, we encourage everyone to take a COVID home test before attending in person.

Fragrance-Free Environment:
Sha'ar Zahav maintains a fragrance-free environment at all in-person services and events. In order to support those who are physically harmed when exposed to chemical fragrances (difficulty breathing, migraines, flu-like symptoms), please refrain from wearing perfume/cologne or using other scented products. For more information on this subject, please click here.

Zoom Backgrounds:
When attending Zoom events please don’t use virtual or blurred backgrounds, as they cause migraines for many people.
